What is managed cloud hosting?
It is a virtual private server (VPS) reserved for your website or websites. Its size decides how many sites it can comfortably run. Unlike shared hosting, no resources are shared with other customers. You don’t set up or maintain the server yourself: our team, or the AWS and Google teams, do that. You manage it from a simple control panel, the same one used for any other service you buy from us. Ask us if you’d like a sizing recommendation.
Should I choose shared or managed cloud hosting?
For small businesses and personal sites, our shared WordPress or Linux hosting is capable and the best value. Choose managed cloud when a site is very busy, or when you run several demanding sites. We’re happy to talk through your situation.
Which is better: 10MB Cloud, AWS or Google Cloud?
10MB Cloud is usually the best value, in part because it includes bandwidth up to a limit. AWS is the largest cloud platform, with Google Cloud close behind. Both have global coverage and offer web hosting, and AWS offers the wider range of services.
